Well done not so [USER41560].[USER49381]
Shorts with a side pocket or a little belt.

But practice before to make sure it doesn’t annoy you.

We got a bit of marathon mania yesterday and both entered the London ballot but then thought about Loch Ness, which Stef has always wanted to do. It’d be a flying visit with us maybe just staying the night before hence the question

Me and Jezzer are seriously considering Loch Ness, it looks so beautiful. Really long way away is the only thing putting us off but we might have found a solution

Not sure what happened my tags but I meant well done “not so” Lazy Dazy.

I’m tempted by Loch Ness but realistically it won’t be 2024.

I ran Loch Ness in 2019 - it's absolutely stunning.
Worth nothing that although the course is significantly net downhill overall, it's quite undulating, so there's also a fair bit of uphill along the way.
10/10 - would recommend.

Thanks AndyS. Where we live is hilly and I know from past experience flat marathons are tough

We also live in a very hilly place and I don’t like flat! I’ll be run/walking anyway and aim to just enjoy the scenery

Thank you for your good wishes :-)

I'm never doing another marathon but if I were, Loch Ness would be one I'd seriously consider.

Got something to say?

About This Thread

Maintained by minardi
We've all seen the sub 3hr, sub 4hr, sub 4.30hr threads and looked on in awe. I'm now at the age when I'm happy just to see the finish line, regardless of time taken.

So this is a thread to celebrate the finish line, not the finish time.

All welcome!
